Inpatient Care
At Renee vet hospital, we are able to care our patients 24 hours a day with our dedicated veterinary and nursing team.
Accommodation
We have one ward for dogs/cats with multiple cage size to accommodate different size of pets. The cages are equipped with pad and also the tray system for draining and cleaning.
Feeding
Feeding for the inpatient will be as per prescribed chart given by Veterinarian. Case sheet for each pet will be maintained separately in order to maintain the customised diet chart
Intensive care
Inpatient is connected to intensive care unit, so as to access any equipment’s immediately and if any oxygen supply required for animals with breathing difficulties. Heat mats are used to provide additional warming for mobile patients and a warmed air blanket is available for immobile patients as they recover from anaesthesia or illness.
Nursing care
Renee Vet Hospital has a nurse on site 24 hours a day. The nurse will continue to feed, water, take for walk and keep the patients clean overnight, but there is always plenty of time for cuddles, ease them from pain!! Patients that stay in with us over a several days often become very special to us and are missed by the team when they finally return home healthy and happily.
The nurse remains on the ward until midnight, when a rest break is taken. Patients requiring intravenous fluids, oxygen, pain relief, or other medication and monitoring receive further checks at 1am and 7am as a minimum.
Veterinary care:
At Renee Vet Hospital one of our veterinary surgeons is on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. One of our duty veterinarian will be available in the morning shift and the one for the night shift to attend in case of any emergencies. Critical Inpatient are monitored under veterinarian when required.
